Our First Official PUG Meeting!

Hey All,
My name is Brian and together, my wife Briana and I make up Divine Light Photography here in Tampa. We recently had the honor of being asked to host the Pictage User Group (PUG) for our area and are so excited about it.

Our studio is right in the heart of Tampa’s historic Distric, Ybor City and have been hosting a photo club for local photographers for the last year. the club has been a venue for speakers, demonstrations and our super fun shoots. I posted one of our last shoots below so you can get an idea of whats been going on here at the club.

We will be combining our photo club with the PUG to create one amazing community of photographers striving to learn and grow as professinals.

The first Official PUG combo meeting will be held in April and will have a number of special guest speakers and just be an all around good time.

2010′s First Tampa Photography Club (aka, Tampa PUG) Meeting was Amazing!

Wednesday night, January 20th was the first Tampa Photoclub (aka, Tampa Pug) meeting of 2010 and it was our biggest yet. We had a night shoot/workshop with John & Kenzie of Kenzie Shores Photography bringing their ‘Guerrilla’ style of night shooting for everyone to see and Briana and I (Divine Light Photography) put on a mini-workshop on ‘Light Painting’ using long exposures and creative off-camera-lighting.

The night went amazing with over 40 photogrpahers in attendance, more than we had expected. Our 3 models had a blast as well.
